Professor Donna Cross from Telethon Kids Institute is an expert in kids and teens mental health, stopping cyberbullying and health promotion.

Professor Cross has made a huge impact in communities across WA.

In 2012, she received the WA Australian of the Year Award. Since then, Professor Cross has gained several fellowships and won awards including the Future Justice Prize; the Mental Health Research and Education Award from the Mental Health Commission of WA; NGO awards for road safety, smoking cessation, mental health, and bullying and violence prevention (e.g. from the Australian Council for Health Physical Education and Recreation); and the National Honour Award for scholarly achievements and leadership in children’s school-based health research.
